April Showers & Bathtubs '08: Keep Reigning | It wasn't really an April Fool's joke that I'm late, I think it'd be a bigger joke if I was on time several months in a row.. but anyhow, I'm on it! The weather is finally coming back around and that's good, and people seem to be doing more and more things which means more opportunity to spread the Kareem Ajani experience.. does anybody know how hard it is to find a Koala Bear or something Banana Yellow?

March 2008: The Madness Continues | Why am I still shoveling snow in March people? Take a damn bus or buy a Civic, and stop smoking your cancer-sticks. Two males on the front cover in a row, this is landmark.. people are asking if I'm okay.. yes yes, I am a-ok. A big thank you to Piero for opening up his amazing indoor skateboard facility for our photo-shoot at The Rail (make sure you visit both the site and the facility) and the kids that inspired me and tried to teach me how to skateboard.. even though I failed miserably. I would also like to thank people like "Britt", who inspire me to do what I am doing continuously. Without viewership (a kareemism), my work wouldn't mean that much and so it's people like her that push me to get better and better each day with my craft.

Feb '08: Love it or Love it Not... | I am on time with it this month, plus with there only being 29 days.. can't waste not one. I have always wondered who's bright idea it was to just go ahead and appoint February with the least amount of days in the year, not to mention the whole leap year crap. But aside from the sudden snow storm today, I continue to bring the hotness. February birthday shouts: My-damn-self, Carlene, Walter S., my dad (RIP), Anna Carina, Michael Jordan and all the other great Aquariuses

Jan '08: And Another One... | Am I late? Is this thing on? Oh yes, hah I guess so. Uhm, memo to moi -- People want their goodies at the START of the month. Got it. Okay, so I'm a tad bit late on things to start off the year, I decided to slow it down near the end of the year to just try and focus on recapturing the true reason to why I'm doing what it is I'm doing. With all this technology advancement and easy admittance to the world of photography, it becomes increasingly more challenging to set yourself apart from the other gazillion people doing the same thing as you. Understanding the complexities of our craft, we should then realize that what we do is a privilege, unearthed to in sense capture and freeze time. And it's because of that, I'm so ready for 2008.
Happy Birthday to my big sister Aisha, I can't really call you old because then I'd be calling myself old. Mr. Malachi, growing up so quickly that I can't even keep up. Guttz, S. Williams, Leandro L and probably a couple more I forgot, wishing you happy born-days. So as we get older, let our memories remain fresh in age. Shoot to live -- forever.

December 2007: Happy Holidays | Wow, what a year.. how fast time flies. The website thus far has accumulated over 850,000 visitors this year almost meeting the 1 million mark and I want to personally thank everybody who has either been apart of the growth or have paid attention to it. Give it up for Jai'ah RayNe , we had a wonderful photoshoot, briefly reuniting with old talents (Anna Carina, Tasha Alana, Krystal Miller)
Many surprises to come for 2008, be humble and feel blessed for everything you've been granted and are soon to obtain. Once we lose focus on why we're doing what we're doing, we begin to fall off track. Happy Holidays to you all, keep watching

Nov '07: Happy 2nd Bday kareemajani.com | How quick the years have flown by, let alone the year itself. This is the second anniversary date of the website and it is STILL moving strong. Expect changes in the 2008 year, and of course you could expect the product to only get more better than before. The Kareem Ajani Collection books are coming real soon, 3 editions are currently being built (2005, 2006, 2007), each exclusive autographed limited edition hard cover book will be filled with full color photos of my best work of that year. Stay tuned for information on how to get your hands on that! This was a year filled with great memories and experiences, and one thing that I love about what I do, is all the new faces and talents that I meet each and every month. So encouraging and inspiring to be constantly surrounded by talented individuals, take a look at this month's cover model, Tye Boogie. Amazing talent, and an equally as good subject model, be sure to check her out Tye Boogie (click here)

O' October '07: Greensleeves, Red Leaves | The say that the last weekend of summer and great weather is now behind us, and that may be true, but atleast the weather is still somewhat manageable. September's cover captured a female by the name of Edwina, and I wanted to congratulate her on her newborn daughter Kaira Emmabelle. I've always said, you don't know about life until one was either taken away from you, or you give birth.. this month was filled with great moments, from retro sneakers to Common. Always a blast, see you in November!
